Over the past several months the Walla Walla Catholic Schools’ Board and Finance Committee has been developing school budgets and understanding how tuition impacts our families. As a result of this work, the Board has settled on a very modest increase. Please review the 2017-2018 tuition rates here.
In accordance with Catholic values, the Board of Directors and the administration of WWCS do everything possible to steward resources wisely. In making this decision, members took into account the current economic situation and balanced concerns with the anticipated increases in operating expenses. While the Board of Directors recognizes that any increase will impact our school families, such an increase is necessary to maintain the quality of our academic programs and to ensure the long-term viability of our schools.
At Walla Walla Catholic Schools, we are committed to providing a Catholic “Education for Life” to every student possible in the Walla Walla Valley. As a result, approximately 72% of students receive some form of financial aid. Our commitment to the ministry of a Catholic education is made possible through your service and generosity. Your efforts in discussing the benefits of a WWCS education with your friends and family, and your support of our fundraising efforts, ensure our schools remain financially sound. Thank you so much for all you do for the Walla Walla Catholic Schools.
Registration packets will be available Monday, February 27, 2017. We will host an enrollment celebration and community wide Open House and Family Forms Night on Tuesday March 14, 2017 from 5:30-7:00pm at DeSales. Please watch for details. We ask that families please complete registration forms and return on Forms Night or to the school office by Tuesday, March 14, 2017. Office personnel will be happy to answer any questions you have concerning registration.
The Board and I want to thank every family for your support of our schools, the sacrifices you make, and your confidence in us to provide your children with an “Education for Life.”
God Bless You,
David Schmitz, President
